As I look at my life,

I know I'll never be happy.

I'm tired of everyone saying "all you need is time."

I've spent my whole life wondering,

"When will the sadness end?"

Sure you say you'll be there..

But I know that's a lie.

I've sat up every night,

Thinking of things that made me cry.

When will I find a friend that will be there?

When will someone finally care?

I'm sick of people saying "I love you",

When they don't really mean it.

And yeah,

I was stupid and reply with,

"Hey I love you too."

But, things have elivated,

I'm a little smarter now.

I'll show you all,

The ones know who I'm talking to..

But then, I wonder "how?"

I'll then remember to tell them..

"That was me then, this is me now."
